The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has taken a bold step toward digital transformation with the launch of staff training on a new Performance Management System (PMS).
The Chairman of RMAFC, Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, OFR, reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to boosting productivity and service delivery through technology. Represented by Hon. Ismail Mohammed Agaka, Federal Commissioner for Kwara State, Dr. Shehu explained that the PMS will replace the outdated annual performance evaluation report.
He noted that automation and digital tools will streamline processes, reduce errors, and consign the analog system to history.
Urging staff to embrace the change, he remarked, “If you do not shake into the system, the system will likely shake you out.”
Speaking at the opening session, the Secretary to the Commission, Mr. Nwaeze Joseph Okechukwu, described RMAFC as one of Nigeria’s most strategic institutions and stressed that digital transformation would equip officers with vital new skills.
He encouraged staff to “learn, unlearn, and relearn,” while also upholding professionalism through good dressing and punctuality.

In his goodwill message, Mr. Emmanuel Ohiro, PMS Consultant from Reliefline Nigeria Limited, praised the initiative and urged participants to take the workshop seriously, describing it as a pathway to improved service delivery.
The training, organised by RMAFC’s Administration and Human Resources Department in partnership with Reliefline Nigeria Limited, kicked off on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, and will run until Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The announcement was signed by Maryam Umar Yusuf, mnipr, Head of Information and Public Relations Unit, RMAFC
