As the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CON, marks his 29th anniversary on the throne, prominent businessman Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, President and CEO of Funab Group of Companies Limited, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the revered monarch.
Ajia praised the Emir’s nearly three-decade leadership, describing it as a “legacy of peace, compassion, and cultural pride.”
In a statement released through his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan, Ajia lauded the Emir’s pivotal role in fostering unity, harmony, and development within the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
He emphasized that the Emir’s enduring commitment to traditional values has been instrumental in promoting peace and cohesion across Kwara State.
“His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has been a beacon of wisdom, patience, and inspiring leadership,” Ajia said.
“Under his stewardship, Ilorin has experienced substantial growth, and his leadership continues to inspire unity and social progress.” Ajia expressed prayers for the Emir’s continued health, strength, and guidance, underscoring his belief that the Emir will lead Ilorin to “even greater heights.”
Reflecting on the Emir’s journey since his coronation on November 11, 1995, Ajia commended him as a father figure and custodian of the Emirate’s rich heritage.
“The Emir has been a steadfast supporter of interfaith dialogue and cultural preservation, strengthening the fabric of Kwara State,” he said.
