In a renewed commitment to ensure that no child is left behind in the pursuit of education, the Alliance of Civil Societies for Sustainable, Inclusive and Transformative Education (ACSITE) held a strategic meeting last week aimed at deepening advocacy and mobilizing action toward inclusive learning for every child.
Speaking during the session, the Bayelsa State Coordinator, Princess Elizabeth Egbe, reaffirmed the Alliance’s unwavering dedication to advancing education accessibility, particularly in underserved and remote communities. She emphasized that the movement is determined to take advocacy to a new height reaching even the deepest crannies of society where children still struggle to access quality education.
Princess Egbe highlighted the need for an enabling and environmentally friendly learning atmosphere where every child, regardless of background or location, can thrive. “Our mission is simple yet profound to ensure that every child sits in a classroom, learns in safety, and dreams without limits,” she stated.
The meeting also explored collaborative strategies among civil society groups, development partners, and education stakeholders to strengthen state-wide interventions addressing barriers to education such as poverty, infrastructure gaps, and gender disparities.
The Alliance continues to champion transformative education as a key driver for sustainable development, inclusion, and equality across Nigeria.
