“The CDS has shown an unrelenting commitment to engaging traditional rulers, youth groups, civil society, and international partners. This inclusive approach is critical for building national unity and sustainable peace,” he said.

Amb. Emmanuel also praised the ongoing reforms aimed at improving the welfare of military personnel, especially those serving on the frontlines.

“A secure nation begins with a well-catered military. We commend the CDS for prioritizing troop welfare, expanding training opportunities, and promoting inclusive leadership within the ranks,” he added.

Reaffirming its unwavering support for the Nigerian military, CONYSSA pledged to intensify grassroots engagement through sensitization campaigns aimed at promoting community vigilance, peacebuilding, and intergenerational dialogue across all states .

The coalition further urged political leaders, religious institutions, and community stakeholders to support the military’s patriotic mission by fostering intelligence-sharing, youth involvement, and sustained dialogue as key pathways to long-term security and peace across the country.
