The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) has taken a major step toward enhancing operational efficiency by organizing a one-day sensitization training on the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
The initiative, which began with selected staff, will eventually be expanded to all personnel across the agency.
Speaking at the training, Dr. Binta Musa Ibrahim, Head of Planning, Research, and Statistics (PRS) at NSIPA, emphasized the importance of leveraging technology for improved service delivery. “This training marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance transparency and accountability.
As we continue to pursue excellence, adopting a streamlined and secure document management system is essential,” she said.
Dr. Binta outlined the benefits of EDMS, highlighting its role in reducing paperwork, fostering collaboration, and boosting overall productivity.
She encouraged participants to engage actively with the facilitators, noting that their mastery of the system is key to its successful implementation.
She also extended her appreciation to the National Coordinator and CEO of NSIPA, Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal, PhD, for his leadership and commitment to modernizing the agency’s operations through digital solutions.
The training aligns with NSIPA’s broader strategy to integrate technology into its processes, reinforcing its mission to enhance efficiency in service delivery.
