Youth Minister Olawande Vows to Transform Lives with Bold Empowerment Initiatives

In a bold reaffirmation of his commitment to Nigeria’s youth, the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, has pledged to deliver transformative programs that align with the Presidential Priorities for Youth Empowerment. These priorities aim to unleash innovation, foster leadership, and create sustainable opportunities for young Nigerians nationwide.

The Minister made this commitment during a high-level follow-up meeting with Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Coordination and Head of the Central Delivery Coordination Unit, in Abuja.

Olawande underscored his determination to roll out impactful programs tailored to the needs of the nation’s vibrant youth population.

“We are determined to chart a new course for Nigeria’s youth by delivering initiatives that create real opportunities and measurable outcomes. This is about changing lives and driving progress for our nation,” Olawande stated passionately.

The Minister outlined several transformative initiatives under the Ministry’s deliverables
Including Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Youth Bank Legislation entrepreneurs, Revitalized Youth Development Centers.

Others include: Comprehensive Impact Tracking and Enhanced NYSC Programs

Olawande called on the Ministry’s leadership to approach their responsibilities with a sense of urgency and focus, ensuring these deliverables translate into tangible benefits for Nigeria’s youth.

Hadiza Bala Usman lauded the Ministry’s vision and progress, reaffirming the Presidency’s commitment to addressing youth challenges as a national priority.

“Our work spans critical sectors such as education, sports, and the creative economy. Together, we will deliver actionable solutions that meet the expectations of our youth. This is a new beginning for collaboration, innovation, and impactful results,” she stated.
