In a powerful call to action, the Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has emphasized the undeniable link between peace and economic prosperity, urging Nigerians to fully support the military’s efforts in combating insecurity.

Speaking at the grand opening of the 45th International Trade Fair in Kano, the Minister declared that without peace, the nation’s development goals would remain unattainable.

The event, organized by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KACCIMA), drew a prestigious crowd of local and international business leaders, government officials, and dignitaries, including representatives from the Vice President’s office and the Kano State Government.

Badaru, a former National President and Lifetime Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), took the stage to reaffirm President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to restoring peace and stability across the nation.

He urged stakeholders to prioritize Nigeria’s non-oil export potential, emphasizing its critical role in diversifying the economy and achieving sustainable growth.
