Defence Minister Hails Armed Forces, Urges Unity as Nigeria Marks 64th Independence Anniversary

In commemoration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary, the Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has paid glowing tribute to the Nigerian Armed Forces for their critical role in preserving the nation’s sovereignty.

In a message released by the Ministry of Defence, Badaru also congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all Nigerians, calling for continued unity and collaboration as the country navigates its current challenges.

“Our Armed Forces have been the backbone of Nigeria’s security, showing unparalleled dedication in defending our territorial integrity,” the Minister stated.
