The Nigerian Diaspora, Aderopo O Bailey has expressed that his vision and leadership will connect, represent and inspire Nigerian youth abroad to become tomorrow’s leaders today for a better future.
Ambassador Bailey announced his intention for the role of Governor, National Youth Council of Nigeria United States of American Chapter
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Adviser on Media, Maryam Aminu, he disclosed that if appointed, his administration will spur the council’s initiatives in America, adding that he will bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table to foster stronger connections among Nigerian youths in United States of America
As an aspirant under the platform for youth leadership, the NYCN United States of America chapter will poised to make significant strides under my leadership, if appointed
Speaking on the challenges bedevilling Nigeria especially insecurity he assured if appointed he will unite with burgeoning diaspora so as to provide the country with the helping hand it needs.
“Nigerians in diaspora will evolve practical solutions to security challenges in Nigeria”he added
He tasked the Nigerian diasporas on the need to change the wrong narrative about the security challenges at home rather than negatively projecting it in their host countries.
“We are the ones to fix our country and we should also be good ambassadors wherever we are,’’ he said.
