Maryam Aminu

In agitation for good governance, the Ebira Youth Consultative Forum for Good Governance has appealled the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Secretariat as a matter of urgency to beg Yahaya Bello to leave the new administration of His Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo to operate smoothly without further monitoring spirit.

The National Secretary, Amb. Avidime Ibrahim made this appeal during their meeting, that the close marking and God fatherism by Yahaya Bello is no longer accommodating and is affecting the loyal party members, the zonal political chain and mostly the citizens of kogi state.

He further channelled his grievances, that Yahaya Bello intentionally brought back all his cabinet members from the Central (Ebira) and West (Okun) who served with him for 8 years knowing fully well that the said cabinet are incapacitated, leading to APC failure in the last general election and if this continue the APC might not have supporters in coming days and might even kill the party before the next election.

Amb. Ibrahim also stated that APC National Chairman His Excellency, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and BOT should caution Yahaya Bello to stay off Ododo’s government in order for him to serve and face the good people of kogi state with one mind and new cabinet structures balancing the three senatorial district, that Yahaya Bello and his family should no longer “repeat class” considering the current global economy crisis that’s affecting the nation.

Avidime while appreciating the APC National for their roles in the victory of His Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo urged them to act immediately before Yahaya Bello destroyed the good image of the party.

“It’s no longer a thing of joy having two governor’s residences in the same government house.” He lamented
